Dueling already implemented?
I don't want to make this a discussion on Dueling. I just read a review thought that mentioned it as if it was already in the game. Can anyone verify this?

This aspect of MMORPGs has been totally removed from Guild Wars, if someone wants to attack you they either have to challenge you to an arena dual or take you on in Guild vs. Guild combat. This gives new players the peace of mind that someone won’t attack them out of hand just to feel superior, because one can just say no and ignore the requests for duels!

Looks interesting. Again this isn't a dueling debate, I only seek info on what is or is not in the game

I read that also, but as far as the info goes there is no 1 on 1 dueling.

Just to point out, the author of the piece has some serious clarity in his/her explanations. This isn't the only part that doesn't quite make grammatical/logical sense.
I'm pretty sure it's just lack of skill in explaining the PvP content. There was no dueling during the betas, but who knows if there will be for release or later. I read it more as explaining that going to an arena for PvP would be the "saying yes to a duel".

I see
I see, i was confused as well at the wording used. I played the betas and didn't see any dueling (cause it wasn't there) however this is what I found interesting.

It seems that anyone who played the Beta would not have experienced ignoring requests for a duel (or PvP). that was the primary thing that caught my attention. It wasn't a blanket statement, it was a specific action that caught my eye.
